Random Stuff About Me - I've Been Tagged

Random Stuff About Me:

  1. I was born pigeon toed and had to wear shoes with a bar on them until I was one. My Mom said I kicked the holy living shit out of my crib and it had to be thrown away. I guess I was always ADD.
  2. When I was 5 my older sister was supposed to be watching me, but she let me climb on top of a swingset and I fell back on my head and was knocked out and had a concussion. My parents didn’t take me to the ER until the next day when I was projectile vomiting. I spent two days in the hospital.
  3. I am pretty ADD about my jobs, so I tend to switch frequently. The longest job I ever had was at Alcoa and that lasted ten years. I’ve been in my current job for 2 ½ years, that is the longest run since Alcoa.
  4. I have never eaten a steak in my entire life. I have never eaten ribs in my entire life. I have very bad texture issues, and it grosses me out to have to chew on meat.
  5. When I was young, my Chihuahua was chasing me because I was eating a hot dog. I fell and cracked open my face. I had a really bad scar all my life that bothered me, so I had scar revision surgery when I was 28. It is very unnerving to have a Dr. slice into your face when you are awake! But I am now glad that I did it because it looks so much better.
  6. I got my belly button pierced when I was 27, skinny and hot. Now all I have is an ugly scar! I do not have any tattoos on my body.
  7. My parents have been happily married for 41 years and my Dad still treats my Mom like a Queen! They are great parents.
  8. I got married for the first time @ age 20 to my older son’s Father. It lasted 7 years. He is still in my son’s life and we now are friends. We are both remarried.
  9. I am a bit of a loner. I prefer to do a lot of things by myself and am very independent. My sister is the complete opposite, she won’t even exercise alone! I often wonder how two such very different people are sisters!
  10. I like to work hard and play hard…that is my motto! I love a challenge and am very competitive.

My texture issues run to the likes of scallops and swordfish. I love steak, ribs not so much.

OMG, I think I was born to eat cow and pig. Steak and ribs are my favorite foods.

But rabbit...not so much.

Ouch, on the concussion and the face plant!

I am TOTALLY with you on the sibling thing. I have 4 sibling and we couldn't be more different, especially my sister and I.

Found myself thinking like a guy over your aversion to meet..."I can cook you a steak that would make you change your mind"...but then I thought about brussel sprouts and decided that some issues need not be pressed upon. blech!

hey kelly...
if you dont mind i am doing some research and would love your comments and opinions. the research is about dads and daughters and it sounds like you have some great parents.

what kind of impact did your dad have on your life...did he hang out with you as a kid and did that relationship get better or worse as a teenager? did your relationship with your dad have any impact on your decision to have sex before or after marriage....on your views on boys/guys....do you wish you had a better relationship with your dad....or what was good about it...what made it work or not work....

thanks for your time and honest answers....

my friend has a son who has texture issues too...you are not alone...

have a great day..

I've gotten myself convinced that we pick our siblings before we're born (go ahead, make your fun!). Why else would I have a brother that is my polar opposite? To torture myself of course!

Some history of physical trauma you have there, Kelly!
