He cannot stand that I am his conscience and what I say is the truth no matter how much he doesn't want to hear it. We needed to clear the air. I felt really bad because he was crying, I ended up crying too. But it was a good thing. We broke down a barrier that's been building for months and I think we made some great progress. I hugged him and told him how proud I was of him. We are in a better place now.
On the dog front, Tanner has an appt. today to get bloodwork to see if the current treatment is working. Cross your fingers! He seems like himself, but I am afriad to get too optimistic until I hear the results.
As far as exercise, I did P90X Plyometrics this morning. I actually enjoyed it this morning, since I wasn't dog tired.

Keeping Tanner in my thoughts. I hope everything works out, and there is progress in his blood work.
I am glad the last little straw "battle" got you guys to work through some barriers. Man, I don't know how I am going to handle it whem LB gets teenage years....scary!
I am glad you were able to clear the air. I am not looking forward to the day when Shawn and I face turbulant times over things other than brushing his teeth and going to bed.
Hope all goes well with Tanner. Keeping good thoughts that everything gets back to normal.
thanks girls :)
I thought we were supposed to be free once the kids turned 18...I worry about him more than ever.
Sometimes you have to go through the pain to experience the joy..
Sometimes you have to tell the kiddos how it is, no matter how much it hurts. Congrats on making progress with him. I am not looking forward to these battles (my son is 8)....
Crossing fingers for Tanner!
Ugh! I feel for you. Mine are still young teens, so still pretty manageable. One of my RLBF's is going through this with her college-aged son, too.
Hoping for progress with Tanner and the blood work!
Also, just catching up on the previous post. Yow-za! Great results!
*running off to check P90X website*
Glad to hear you were able to get through some stuff, Kel. Trevor is teetering on the edge of puberty, and I'm starting to get a bit nervous.
